Shivangini Rana, model and a aspiring actor had more of ambitious plans in her life. After her schooling at Mayo, Shivangini, then completed a hotel management course at the famed Les Roches in Switzerland. By the time she got back home, Shivangini realized that her heart was set on pursuing acting in Hindi films. Shivangini, always wanted to act as a kid, she had done a lot of plays in school and was involved in performing arts. She completed her hotel management course just because her father wanted her to complete her education first.
Shivangini, then decided to fly down to Mumbai and initially stayed with her friend. Later, she managed to get her own place within a week. Shivangini, then completed an acting course first and later tried out theatre. Now, She is ready to take the plunge in the bollywood industry and is hoping to make a big impact, She quoted "I'm really looking forward to working in Bollywood which has so many talented directors making edgy films,"
Shivangini Rana is also one of the contestants in a reality TV show SpiltaVilla, aired on MTV, every Sunday at 17:00 hrs. Shivangini Rana quoted in her Splitsvilla introductory video "She is participating on MTV Splitsvilla for fun and for competition and is also looking forward to meet people"
